In conjunction with the fact that machining of parts on machine tools is being constantly intensified and heating of the coolant used is increasing as a result, in the design of tanks for the pump station it is necessary to solve problems associated not only with increasing the degree of purification of the coolant, but also stabilizing its temperature during operation. The coolant tank has been developed in which the coolant is simultaneously purified and cooled. The tank is intended for use in the coolant feed system of metal-cutting machine tools.
